One of the top soul singers of the early 21st century, Glenn Jones pays tribute to R&B classics and standards, particularly from the past 20 years, on Forever: Timeless R&B Classics.Jones began his singing in the church, and in the '70s was headed for a career in gospel music when he was discovered by producer Norman Connors. During his period with Connors, Jones developed his voice in the secular music world, having a series of hits between 1983-1994 and he's been evolving ever since. Toné!, Rene & Angela, Bobby Womack and Stevie Wonder, among others, with Glenn Jones giving each tune his own personal spin.
